These headphones are cheap knock offs that are NOT MADE BY APPLE. I have no problem with chintzy knock offs, but this product says it is made by Apple and it is not.
The sound was horrible, the cable started falling apart within 5 days, and the company acknowledged that they were not Apple made when asked.
I love Amazon, but I'm amazed they let fake products like this stay on the site.
I bought these to use with an iPad. They sound just like the headset that came with the iPad. The remote has three buttons - volume up, down and play/pause. There is no way by looking at the headset or the packaging that they came in to determine who made them, but they look just like the original headset I had.
